The hotel is located 3 Km away from Pitigliano, a characteristic Etruscan and Medieval village in southern Tuscany, also called "little Jerusalem" for its large Jewish community that once lived here, with its synagogue, the oven for the unleavened bread and the Jewish cemetery. Full of history with evidence of the Etruscan presence such as the numerous necropolises and excavated roads (by the Etruscans), as well as evidence from the medieval and renaissance periods (the Orsini fortress and the Medicean waterworks). The hotel, immersed in the green homonymous valley where the only sound to be heard is that of the nearby stream; it has a tennis court and a roofed-over swimming pool fed by the nearby thermal baths where the water springs at a 37° C temperature. From the hotel depart naturalistic and scenic paths that can be covered by foot, on horseback (manège close by) or on mountain bike. The hotel is equipped with satellite TV and mountain bikes may be rented, practice archery and bird-watching, there is a bus service to and from the hotel, parking lot, guarded garage. All major credit cards are accepted. The hotel is located in an area where in a radius of 50 Km it's possible to reach the lake of Bolsena (15 minutes), Orvieto, the seacoast (Costa d'Argento), Mount Amiata. A few minutes away are Sorano with the monumental complex of the Orsini fortress, the rupestrian settlement of Vitozza, Sovana with its numerous Etruscan tombs, Saturnia and its sulphurous waters. Rome is at a distance of an hour and a half.
