The hotel has 50 bedrooms and all are ensuite. Facilities include colour tv, tea/ coffee and telephone. The rooms are small and medium in size and in good condition. The decor consists of a carfeul mix of scottish character with modern facilities. The hotel restaurant specialises in local produce and is quite informal. The room is decorated in wood panelling and log fires. A wide variety of menus are on offer too. This is a traditional hotel, which is 100 years old, and is very much in keeping with the rest of the village. It is a 3 storey building with lift and is surrounded by beautiful unspoilt countryside. The hotel lobby is medium in size and is quite bright. There is plenty of space for guests luggage and there is a small seating area next to the reception desk. ** Please note - that the swimming pool is currently closed but will be opening 11 august 2008 **
The hotel also offers a swimming pool, sauna, snooker room and other live entertainment. This is a good alternative to Inverness. (KB 04/08)
