Built in 1923 as a grand bank, the building was extensively renovated with many original features restored in 1998 to create this hotel which has recently undergone refurbishment in February 2008. The hotel comprises 9 en-suite bedrooms of a 3-star standard, each one individually designed to reflect the work and lives of a famous Scot. The rooms are arranged over the three floors and accessed via the original staircase.

Each of the welcoming rooms has been individually created to reflect the work and lives of a famous Scot. Accessed via the original staircase, all come with en-suite bathrooms, LCD panel TVs and tea and coffee making facilities as well as creature comforts such as luxury bathrobes.
