The rural house is a single-storey building with exterior stone walls 60 centimetres thick and woodwork on the outside and the inside. This makes it efficient to cool in the summer and heat in the winter. Guests are welcomed into a reception hall with 24-hour check-in and check-out service. There are five bedrooms, each looking out onto a different view of the Gredos Mountains or the valley of Tietar. The lounge has a wooden ceiling 6 metres high and a warm fireplace, which create an especially spacious and comfortable atmosphere. There is also a large library with a superb selection of books of all genres. Guests can enjoy the view from a bay window and be captivated by the landscape or gaze at the night sky, with or without a telescope, to see the stars in all their splendour. Facilities include hotel safe, TV lounge, restaurant, Internet access, room service and a car park.

Each en suite room has a spectacular view. Two of them have a double bed (1,5 m), and the rest have two beds pushed together. The rooms have carpets, floor lamps, mosquito nets and latex mattresses and feature beautiful woodwork. Additionally, each room comes equipped with hairdryer, towels, ironing set..., hire safe and individually regulated air conditioning and heating. The décor is pleasant and relaxing. The rooms are disability-friendly.

There are multiple leisure activities available. For example guests can ride horses along interesting and scenic guided tours, which can last from one hour to several days. Or guests of all ages can sail down the river Tietar on canoe (Neoprene suits and life jackets are provided for safety). There is also the possibility to go hang gliding and climbing, and, for those who prefer to walk, whether on guided excursions or by themselves, the Sierra de Gredos offers a wonderful landscape with protected fauna such as golden eagles, vultures and storks. Hiking trails lead to places worth visiting such as Los Hermanitos de Tejea, the refuge Albarea and La Puente del Puerto, where the Roman bridge stands as firm as the day it was built. The house has a swimming pool and offers massage services and gym facilities. Guests can also enjoy golf, archery, biking, fishing (catch and release) and hunting for deer, wild Spanish goat or wild boar. Indoor activities are housed in the games parlour, which features a billiards table and other table games. This parlour is reached by way of a wrought-iron staircase from the lounge. Some activities incur a fee.

The house restaurant serves traditional food. A continental breakfast buffet is served daily. On Saturdays, the hotel offers the popular dish, cocido (stew made of meat, bacon and chickpeas), which can be smelled cooking from early in the morning. Equally popular are the carillas, a small thin bean grown locally and served with tomato, tomato soup, asparagus from La Vera, pork loin with peppers, fried pork or goat and choice veal. Not to mention the vegetables and fruits of the land, which are to be tasted any day of the week.
