Appealing especially to families, the Lobstick Lodge is nestled below the pine forests of the Pyramid Bench. Its name is derived from trees which had all but the top few branches cut off, called lobsticks, used as trail markers and/or rendezvous points by the early voyageurs nearly two hundred years ago.
Located close to all the conveniences of the town, the Lobstick Lodge has 139 spacious rooms with 2 queen beds that can accommodate triple and quad occupancy based on sharing existing beds, and feature mini fridges, irons and ironing board and a coffee maker, with complimentary tea and coffee. Hotel facilities include an indoor pool, three outdoor & two indoor hot tubs, sauna and steam room as well as laundry facilities and gift shop.
The Country Inn Restaurant has down-home Rocky Mountain cuisine in a friendly, family atmosphere. Decorated in a bright natural pine décor with historic photos of Jasper, the Country Inn Restaurant features generous home-style meals to please all palates and budgets. Relax and unwind in the Mountain View Lounge around the cozy fireplace, or the outdoor patio, all with wonderful mountain views. One of Jasper's favourite lounges with a look at the Rockies you'll never forget!
