Microtel Inn and Suites-Watertown-Calcium is located 3.5 miles east of I-81 about l mile outside Fort Drum. The hotel is 30 miles south of Canada and 70 miles north of Syracuse. A short drive takes you to Historic Sackets Harbor, Cape Vincent, Clayton and Alexandria Bay New York where you can enjoy attractions like Boldt Castle, Thousand Island International Bridge, Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site, and numerous other parks, museums, and historic sites. There are 14 public golf courses in the area both 9 and 18 holes. About 35 miles away is the Thousand Island Casino.
